The last game of the tournament saw Germany play for promotion and Denmark for the last time to play for the home crowd.

Surprisingly, Denmark was up 3-1 in the second period and again 4-3 in the third period, but Germany came back and scored three times in the last five minutes of the game.

Simon Seidl scored the deciding 5-4-goal and Germany finally won 6-4 and secured promotion.
